Privacy policy

This policy explains what we (Genesis CRTV, doing business as Seven Day Studio, which runs The Honest Print) collect when you use The Honest Print, why we collect it, how long we keep it and who helps us run the site. We do not sell your personal information.

What we collect

• Account details: your name and email address when you sign in or create an account.
• Your project: your book specs, the files you upload, file check results, proofs and messages about your order.
• Order details: your shipping address, phone number and the email you give at checkout.
• Payment: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• How you use the site: if you allow analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages help people. If you allow marketing cookies, we may use Meta and Google Ads tools to measure our ads.

Why we use it

To check, proof, price, print and ship your book, to email you about your quote and order, to answer your questions, to keep the site secure, and to improve it. We email you about your own orders. We only send marketing if you ask for it.

Who helps us

We share information only with companies that help us run The Honest Print, and only what they need:

• Our printing partners, who receive your files and shipping address to make and ship your books
• Stripe, for payments
• Resend, to send email
• Cloudflare, to store files
• Our hosting and database providers
• Google Analytics, Meta and Google Ads, only if you allow those cookies

How long we keep it

• Files for ordered books: 12 months after delivery. We email you 30 days before we delete them, with a one click option to keep them another year.
• Files you uploaded without signing in, for a project that was never ordered: 30 days after your last activity.
• Projects in your account that were never ordered: kept while you have an account, so you can come back to your book. Ask us and we will delete them.
• Order and payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your project. Analytics and marketing cookies are only used if you allow them, and you can change your choice at any time from the link at the bottom of every page.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep by law. Contact us and we will reply within 30 days.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with its date.
