Spine width

How thick your book's spine is, set by your page count, paper and binding.

Spine width is your page count divided by your paper's pages per inch, plus a little for the cover. A hardcover adds the thickness of its boards.

Your cover file is back, spine and front side by side, so the spine width decides how wide your cover file must be. Finish your inside pages before your final cover.
